Title Package Testing
Author Tony Stauffer
Company Packaging Technologies and Inspection
Synopsis
Package testing will be simpler, more cost-effective and efficient if the proper test method is applied. High precision non-destructive inspection technologies coupled with a user-friendly approach have been PTI’s focus for over 20 years. Most important is the fact that package integrity testing has become more reliable - a key issue that cannot be overlooked. When talking about different testing methods for package analysis, the bottom line is that “reliability” should never be sacrificed for the sake of simplicity.

Editorial

A product that has been packed with a sense of uniqueness and precision takes the cake any day. One might be amazed at the kind of difference quality packaging could bring to a brand.

Con-Tech International is going to be present at the 66th annual RIPA Conference in Naples, Florida. It has prepared a great exhibit, where new products for steel drums, plastic drums, totes, and IBC’s will be introduced.

TCP Reliable, a thermal packaging solutions manufacturer and DDL, the leading package testing services firm have announced a merger. Called the leading packaging engineering group, it specializes in medical device and biopharmaceutical industries.

Findings prove that, under normal conditions, shallow and wide open steel and aluminum containers are safe to be used in microwave ovens. Researchers also found that food in metal containers is more uniformly heated than in plastic containers. The findings open up a wealth of opportunities for consumers and brand owners alike.
